- L&T REX #29: An interdisciplinary crisis management
In this REX @DEBUCQUET Gervaise and @GAREL Alexandre tell you how the mixing of their disciplines
renewed the format of an existing crisis game. The CERBAZINE case aims at dealing with an environmental
and health crisis. It is also challenges how agrifood companies based on a same territory stick together,
or not, to manage the crisis.
A new biodiversity indicator was introduced (Corporate Biodiversity Footprint) in the game.
As a consequence, the company liability is even more incurred, diving students into even more complexity.
It really makes them understand the consequences of their decisions, in particular in their investment
policy. A cross disciplinary case mixing reflexivity, action and teamwork!
With the additional introduction of a biodiversity indicator (Corporate Biodiversity Footprint), the responsibility of the actions of these companies is even more engaged, plunging the students into the complexity of the consequences of their decisions, in particular on their investments. A case combining reflexivity, action and teamwork!
We hope this REX will inspire your courses and will give you some ideas to make connections with other disciplary approaches
