L&T REX #33 "Case Studies : from the genesis to course animation", Collection Case Centre.

In this L&T REX, Mark SAMUEL presented his experience in case studies. He addressed notably the following points from the creation to the animation of case studies :
  • The focus on particular stages and their timing: the struggles with the "business" need, the emergence of an interest in the "student", the gathering of information about the sector and the company, the imagination of a script, writing, the editing process, publication, animation...
  • Value and practicality of storytelling and its impact during the animation phase on the students (role-playing etc.).
  • Feedback from students after the testing.
  • Importance of the tools/templates provided for the main steps in the teaching note to help concretize the answers to the proposed questions.
  • Strategic alignment: link of the case to the school’s strategic axes and weight of sustainability issues (SDGs) addressed in the study.
  • Règles du Case Centre => l’équipe Learning & Teaching.
